41 people have died in that state - with over 200 dead in the southern US states.
There are many without power and water. Road access would be cut with power lines down.
I'm not sure how bad Greer was hit but I've seen a few photos of Greenville (9 miles away), which Biden has just visited to tour damage of South Carolina.
So I reckon the Alexium staff may have a few other things on their minds right now
