The banks are forcing KMR to execute a material deleveraging by September 2015 (or announce details of this by then). And they have appointed their Monitor to oversee this process.
ILU offer will upset many of the IIs for sure. The irish pension funds and UK investment funds probably don't need or want ILU paper. BlackRock and JPM already have plenty of ILU paper (certainly I know BlackRock has). M&G and Capital can see off BLackRock and JPM now - I am not sure which side the hedge funds / Majedi are on.
So seems to me the banks want the ILU offer accepted coz they get back their cash in full. But certain large IIs are saying the deal is too low - given acceptance of certain IIs is a condition ILU want accepted prior to them making formal bid. Good for them and let's hope they and the Irish pension funds say no to Robb the Robber.
However if sector outlook does not show obvious strength soon, the banks will get their way. With BlackRock keeping the pressure on by selling to keep share price depressed. Robb will have overseen a spectacular smash and grab robbery. Truly spectacular !
