I see what you’re saying but two things:
1. There was excitement around this stock this week anyway because of reports of a potential farm out by Cairn to BP
2. This announcement was about a reputable geotechnical consultant’s report, which I assume was not delivered on the back of a napkin from the front bar at the Radisson Dakar.
But, yes, it’s all probabilities till the fat lady throws the dice.
