Don't understand why the market took this negatively, Titanium Dioxide has exceptional supply demand fundamentals, massive shortfall in supply the next few years (20% plus). Check out London listed Kenmare for more info. This is a great space to be in and arguably more attractive than Vanadium. Perhaps some are put off by the switch to Titanium, but I think it is a smart move given the current supply/demand outlook. Vanadium is still driven by steel demand despite all the sexy new applications. This announcement makes me like SPM more, not less!
