Great posting - led by our @Poet with great contributions from everybody. I don't have much to add.
However I'm confident we have heaps of phosphate on our tenements, even south of Wonarah, around 'Jumping Rabbit' - Our geos will be brushing up on their 'sedimentary basin theory' because phosphate rock is consolidated bird droppings (guano) so the formation of the basin occurs in water, which attracts the birds, which do their dropping around the edge of the basin.
We may be on the edge of change, guys - and Inca may go down as the company with a long string of bloody bad luck, until they found some bird shit.
Finally from me, there are three vital plant fertilisers - Nitrogen, Phosporus and Potassium. (NPK)
These are the substances which plants take from the soil, and must be replaced to maintain, or recover fertility. [there are trace elements too !!]
Its phosphorus which our mineralisation can provide, the phosphate rock is solubilised by reacting with sulphuric acid to make Superphosphate, OR with conc. sulphuric to make phosphoric acid which is then used to solubilise more phosphate rock to make Triple Super.
AEV state they have a market for their DSO ore as feedstock for fertiliser manufacture, also because they claim low impurities they claim they can make lithium, iron, phosphate material for Li batteries. [ LFP. instead of Li Mn Ni Co].
Tesla will use LFP in their low cost range of EVs, if you want an electric Porsche you will pay a lot more, get your order in!!
Phosphate rock, and potash too, are critical materials - to maintain food supply, and avoid famine.
GL all. DYOR.
