Not drilling other targets - and even getting the projects to drill ready status - was a major blunder by management imo.
As you say, there was no guarantee any of the deep holes at Frewena would be a 'discovery'.... and they knew full well that logging and assaying big chunks of a 1000m hole would take forever....
So, without action on other projects i.e, JE and/or MC, there was always going to be a dearth of news.....
They just need to extract all digits and get some shallow, cost effective drilling done immediately the wet season is done with.... up to them to decide whether JE or MC is the better prospect for an immediate sugar hit....
And look at other projects that aren't affected by the northern wet season.... plenty of exploration/drilling going on in other parts of Australia! (and the world for that matter).
