They have found a large underground possible brine resource (as others have in the past) which is good news

Now XTC has target areas to drill

What "should" follow from this is a targeted drilling campaign and then

what ppm Lithium is there
a calculation of a JORC compliant resource
a PEA of how much that is worth
After that a DFS on what the costs/incomes could be
What DLE parnter is involved
Offtake discussions, Financing etc etc

All to play out over the next 18 months or so

Without good VES results none of that would be possible.

The market may not like this announcement today, but that's also irrelevant.
