I am not a holder and have been watching SGR and CWN from the sidelines for years, but a couple of things spring to mind with this fiasco. The government is so far off the pace with their punishment regime it is a joke. How about putting the PEOPLE who caused this crap in gaol, instead of screwing the shareholders after the horse has bolted. And what about the so called "Compliance Agencies" in each state. Can there a more useless bunch of bureaucrats on the planet? Or were they too busy being entertained by the casino bosses to notice any "issues'?. Honestly when are Governments in this country going to get serious with corporate criminals like they do in the US and PUT THEM IN GAOL!!! I have side it before, but you can take your Corporate Governance statements for ASX listed companies and put them in the fantasyland category.
