in my final.post this wet boxing day in melbourne, i would like to re-iterate the i am in no way/shape/ or form ramping this at all- nor am i alluding to knowing anything more than all of you in regards to who our potential 3rd party are~ all i am saying that after being involved in the industry+ connecting the dots to what matt walker described as disrupting and revolutionizing the industry, that i can confidently say that robo advice is definantly what he is referring to- it was always discussed as a game changer but a definitive date was never earmarked- reading the aforementioned link and knowing that macquarie are the only current major with first mover advantage going.down the robo advice stream atm, you can be guaranteed that its this tech that is the tech which has been known for a while to totally change the game with many older advisors fearful the day it came in due to being so used to the old.practices and systems in place
the only question is now to wait for mid january to know details of who the third party is and what terms and product they have to potentially be acq by starstriker- would also obviously be very interesting to note if they could potentially have a potential revenue stream in the pipeline with companies set to use their software -
personally i was always in srt based the people behind it and their skin in the game, not to mention we already knew they were looking to.acq a tech company which is hot atm- must admit that knowing its in the space of financial planning+ wealth management surely does make me very happy inside- be under no illusion, deep pockets are what these companies and banks have and should a tech like this work which revolutionizes the industry+ gives them an advantage over competitors dont under-estimate how much $$$ they will throw to differentiate from their.competitors
for whoever wants some light reading read the following article on macquarie bank who.was the 1st to start the robo advice platform in nov15- this has caused its competitors to get even more aggresive to find products to also get into this space
