Uhm, I have faith in this stock, but let's be realistic and don't fool ourselves.

6.6m shares traded on Monday, the day of the result, 6.8m traded on Tues. 23.7m traded on Weds i.e. NWL result date. That was 37m shares traded since the half yearly was announced. To put it into perspective, PPS 30-day-average vol was only 2m shares per day. I think it is a real testiment to how disappointed investors are with PPS. Safe to say that PPS share price has been pumped up on hope of an acquistion and when NWL didnt want to proceed, people sold out, judging from the volume on Weds.

The positive thing for PPS is like you said, the potential capital return from the sale of the internation operations (franking potentially). Without that, I think PPS share price would sink even lower.
