It appears that I am not the only "Prana critic". Finally, although the slow bleed of selling during the past three years indicates that I am far from the only one.

Here is the issue of the day: Prana's announcement first states that the FDA will not accept raising PBT2 dosage to allow greater efficacy. Prana doesn't explain why the FDA came to that conclusion, but it gives the impression that safety at a higher dose remains a concern. That sets the stage for the future of all PBT's and for Prana Biotech.

There is no assurance that the EMA or any other drug regulators will have opinions different from the FDA. There is even less assurance that Prana's management has the expertise and ability for execution to guide any product to commercialization.
