Cutting Prana's tax rebates would be counterproductive for Aus IMO. I guess a lot of that R&D funding is spent at the Florey, so it goes right back to a govt institution.
The NIH in the US seems to understand the value of R&D in this area with $1.69B going to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, $1.598B to National Institute on Aging,
$1.519B to National Institute of Mental Health etc
In Aus the ROI From the Florey is fantastic where for much less than $100m they get the largest brain research group in the Southern Hemisphere.
