It helps if you've been to China. Blew me away on all sorts of levels. They are seriously ahead of countries like Australia in areas like technology, manufacturing, construction.
The thing is, the Chinese can make ANYTHING!! If an overseas company asks them to make products as cheaply as possible, that's what they'll do. But they are more than capable of producing extremely high-spec items, whether than be cars, ships, tech products etc.
