When will the cash change hands for the sale? The spod isn't contracted to ship until December.
The result seems to show that a buyer is willing to pay $1,200/t on an SC6 basis now to hedge against the chance that pricing could be higher by December.
Only a small volume, which leaves the question - what was the motivation for PLS. Are they testing the market? Just trying to squeeze a bit more margin on uncontracted product? Preparing for a new market / pricing structure outside of China spot market?
