The inaugural auction in July 2021 obtained US $1250 for SC5.5. The exchange rate was at 73c back then which equated to AUD$1712 result.
THis pre auction sale resulted in a price of AU $1676 so very similar to the inaugural auction in AUD terms at the current exchange rate of 66c.
Delivery Dec quarter 2024. I suspect, whoever purchased the shipment knows that they will make a good margin by the time they receive and process it in the december quarter.
The game of cat and mouse will continue. No more available due to contract commitments apparently. Unless they ask Dale nicely.
So not as high as many expected but should feed into the contract prices as it's a real quantity and price, not the secret, unverifiable, quality unknown, spot price reporting coming out of China.
