What is the ideal trench length for these tests???
AMN quote on a per meter basis. They would do the same if they had used 50m trenches or 1000m trenches.
Is there any statistical analysis to back any of this up?
What we do know are the porosity values from drilling and the grade. Grade is always going to influence trench requirements. Porosity etc will suggest which substrate will yield more.
Of course the proof of the pudding is in the trench pumping.
Extrapolation is extrapolation irrespective of trench length. The only thing you can query is steady state. But again how far out are you going to look at cone depressions?
