No, of course you couldn't buy $2m of shares on market now without pushing up the price significantly. What I mean is you'd put in $2m via an equity raising.
What I'm saying basically, is if you found someone or a group of investors willing to put in $2m via buying a future royalty stream, why wouldn't it make more sense for these investors to ask to put in $2m via a share issue instead?
It seems like a no brainer to push for equity instead of a royalty stream. Shares have: more upside, better liquidity, better tax treatment (e.g. royalty is taxed as income whereas shares can receive CGT discounts and can claim capital losses) ... I just don't see how the royalty stream is a better investment, if you're bullish on HVY shares.
