Yes i agree it's not unusual that there will be some competitors in any industry. It's unlikely that one company will end up with a 100% monopoly.
EIQ seems to have a real US focus with the US based team and CEO, NED's etc that are very plugged into that space. EIQ has the AS product approved first unlike Ultromics. Once the HF failure is through there will be a good suite of products. The progress to date has been good, looking forward to some fresh news as you are.
