Hahaha. I’ve heard interesting stories when it comes to company tax in China. The tax department and the company sit at a table or go out to dinner or whatever, the tax department pulls a number out of the air and says this is how much tax we think you should pay, the company pulls their own number from somewhere and says this is how much we want to pay. Eventually a number is agreed on and that is that!
Not sure how true this is (if at all), I can’t validate it, just stories I have heard
