There is no doubt this is an encouraging announcement but let's be realistic here it doesn't really do anything to alleviate the two biggest concerns that have been recently mentioned here being Capex/Opex worries and the increased risk in capital markets as mentioned by @pippet. If you want a concrete example of how this journey can possibly go pear-shaped you should have a long and detailed look at a small emerging graphite miner WKT. In short they ordered long lead items and even gone so far as to undertake considerable construction work on what looked like the promise of funding. The upshot is that their last funding announced last week is coming via director loans at 17%. Ouch.

I'm not a pessimist on TMT but am interested in promoting constructive discussion relative to some moving global goalposts.
