TMT and AVL both need ~A$604m capex to each build a V processing plant, but ~400kms apart, to process ore from the same deposit. I just can't see that happening. Surely it would make more sense economically to build 1 plant to process the whole ore deposit ? Not at all easy to arrange, but you'll get one big project with much improved viability rather than two competing with each other. This might all happen anyway by a "natural selection" process if one miner gets ahead of the other by securing finance/EPA approvals first.
