In my short life I have seen mobs go to the wall during booms and busts.
In mining a good combination of management and grade is a good recipe for success. On time on budget construction and start up is a good indication.
Uncontrollable factors such as price and off mine supply dispatch chains can seriously affect profit.
Now comparing MZI with IMA. At a quick look they are schedule to process around the same.
There are many minor differences if you wish to apply the toothpick.
The only significant difference I can see is IMA has a ore reserve at 7.5% and MZI Is 3%.
