Here is a little market riddle. In the US you effectively have ACG's device and soon, UCM's device which can be reimbursed. ACG sell their's for USD20k+, whilst UCM sell theirs for USD3.5k. Studies have shown UCM>ACG and a few have shown ACG's can struggle for accuracy if patients have certain conditions (i.e. diabetes). Not counting the fact that ACG grossly overpromised expected reimbursement rates (USD40+ initially), rates average USD17 per test. Who do you think is going to sell devices better?
