I agree with all you say. None of those financial indicators are likely to surprise on the upside though, I think, so the commentary will also be important. The board has kept the dividend stable so hopefully that shows confidence looking forward. My reading is that the lack of growth is industory wide rather than company specific. Management has been fairly conservative and prudent over a long period so I'm willing to ride out the low-growth period with them. For these thinly traded companies it is soul destroying trying to acquire when profits are rising (and everyone else has noticed). There is certainly no instant gratification in the converse but patience has its own rewards.
