I'm amazed how toxic the Accommodation ship saga was to a lot of people. I saw some on here referring to it as a slave ship which I thought was extreme misrepresentation of a generous offer by a country far removed from the country of orgin of the assylum seekers.
No wonder the UK is in such a state, when the government treats assylum seekers who have usually bought a passage better than it treats its citizens.
Same here and in US just not as violent yet. ANyway this is not the politics thread, but to me illustrates how it can impact investors and legitimate business operators, doing everything well.
I thought the fundamentals of the remaining (core) business very good, with Revenue at .8 x pre-Covid, but profits at .88
