1800 ATMs installed for three major Indian banks with an additional 125 ATMs expected to be installed in two of the three banks.
Historically, transaction volumes have ranged between 3000 to 6400 per month. The DCF valuation model has been based on a reasonable estimate of 3600 transactions per month. Transaction volumes seem right when viewed with last few announcements.
1925 ATMs (DCF has been adjusted to factor these new machines) x 3600 transactions per month x 12 months = approximately 83,160,000 transactions for the year. Note, transaction volumes over Q3FY15 have been lower over the entire fleet of Indian ATM networks as highlighted in the last Operations Report, so transactions could dramatically increase over the next six plus months.
Transaction fees vary according to bank and location of ATMs.
Inflation at 5.17% - excellent news.
