Comparing Telstra and Optus' Mobile additions to Vodafone is showing Vodafone is still struggling.
Optus tracking at around 800,000 new services per annum. Telstra at 400000 and Vodafone At 25000 if you exclude MVNO... most of the MVNO customers come from iiNet/tpg moving to Vodafone.
So Vodafone as a brand is still finding traction difficult, despite a greatly improved network and better customer service..
Optus continue their stupid price cutting strategy... their bipolar sales approach appears suicidal.
Vodafone and TPG will smash Optus on price. Telstra will smash them on coverage and speed...
Optus really can't compete at either end of the spectrum..
With Optus appearing to want to be the cheapest... that leaves Vodafone with the middle ground...
