I can imagine that navigating the regulatory environment of weed in numerous jurisdictions is a challenge, and some consulting / legal fees would be required. The RTO would have also added to costs -
"As part of the transaction, there was an increase in one off expenditure items in the statement of profit and loss and other comprehensive income such as listing fee expense amounting to $1,731,000 and an increase in both compliance and regulatory expenses and administrative expenses."
It would be interesting to see how admin and consulting costs are broken down, but during this phase of the business, it doesn't seem out of the ordinary to me.
