Joke aside, the CEO would want to take back the control of the company which has so much cash he can lives on forever in China. He is no dummy. He could do it in many ways, either buy back shares (most sensible thing to do), take it private himself or sell it, or silliest thing to do is making a fraud and running for the rest of his life in hiding which is not a good saving face for a Chinese. He has to look good!

All we can do now is wait. The directors are hand tight given the ability to write cheque is out of their hands at the moment.
