A sales rep from Fat Prophets called me last week and asked me to buy a subscription. I asked why on earth I would when the performance of their LICs and share picks has been so abysmal. He said the reason for the poor performance by the LICs was the fault of the markets because Asia hasn't experienced the same growth as the US recently. Made no sense to me!
