Mikalee, With your industry knowledge and your financial interest in the surveying industry (as previously stated) , I would be interested in your take on the Veris results and what you think the general prognosis is for Veris / Surveying Industry over the next 12 months?
With the economy performing rather limply at the moment, and a lot of the big infrastructure projects coming to a close, I see very tough times ahead for the construction / land development sector. I perceive that the flow on effects of the banking royal commission are still affecting real estate markets/ land development.
I also note that the approx $3m worth of cost savings implemented by Veris in the last FY do not seem to have been enough. Given the size of Veris in the surveying sector, is there enough high value work/projects out there in the market place to enable Veris to get back to profitability?
