Well, I had another listen to the Mike's update today and he did hint change of strategy towards other commodities of the 'future'. Sounds as they maybe considering options in that space.
Not sure if Lithium is a good option, there is a mammoth potential overcapacity in that space and certainly spodumene isn't the answer (God bless WES). SQM could be a better fit and will fit lower cost producer requirement of lithium.
BHP will not do buy back at these prices, think preference will be towards re-investment or special dividend.
