Listened in to DOC's NWR Investor Presentation this morning. Some points which stood out:
- Recent growth catalysts are expected to continue, COVID was seen as an opportunity to speed up adoption. NHS in England has stated 2/3 doctor consultations can be completed remotely.
- Diagnostics and secondary appointments are going to be a clear differentiator for DOC. 1 Electronic Health Record along with their recommendation algorithm provides a pathway patient journey pathway for each patient with is a huge benefit for insurers
- 40% of Customer Consultations last year required a Diagnostic service, DOC see this as a large opportunity to capture additional revenue on their system.
- Expansion into mental health service, new regions including APAC and Europe, Diagnostics and Disease Management long term to facilitate growth.
Overall I expect growth to continue. Massive growth upside in converting eligible lives with no out of pocket costs to use the service.
Its a land grab competition.
