When I spoke with Jason (quite a while back) I raised my that I thought it was too expensive. He more or less responded that they either came in high and went for big profit, or go low and go for numbers. He was of the mindset that they can always come down, but can’t really go up. My opinion is that people don’t check to see if it’s come down. They look, see it’s expensive and leave, never to return. I think it’s playing out exactly as I thought (with the underwhelming uptake); maybe Jason will listen more about a price restructure. Problem is they’re trying to roll upfront costs into the monthly fee, whereas I think they would do better to charge a one-off startup fee, then a low(er) rate from there.
