    IMO out of date stock is effectively worthless, so if the figures are referring to this stock, the report seems very misleading. What value do they give to the brand (and shareholders) if they’re happy for out of date beer to be sold anyway?

    I think they’ve now set the bar so low with firesale pricing for so long, there is no way back to selling it for a profit at a higher price. Many people likely perceived the product as a cheap beer so would unlikely to pay for it at a price it needed to be sold at to make any sort of maintainable profit.
