I just find it weird to state that my family is full of engineers and builders and what is the use of quoting them, you of the forum can't check if it's true so I research online and share. FUDsters claim to know all and just hope you don't DYOR but if you do they will pretend to laugh and disparage to try and FUD on.
If they were in the industry then they would know the disadvantages of steel fibres are already changing the industry away from it's use and as for abrasion resistance, not the reinforcing they are marketed for, yeah nah. Tires running over them, maybe. Drop a tool box and you have a chip that will grow like a weed.
