BobL. Doubt they will commence production without orders. Orders would require deposits for confirmation. I would expect those deposits to fund the initial production runs. Also note EM are contracted as the Chinese sales and distribution representatives. AKP would presumably clip the ticket on these sales so funding would be provided for Chinese sales by EM.
Also the question of demonstration units which is the current production focus. These will be like hens teeth and should therefore command a healthy premium from those customers who want to have first mover advantage. No idea on values and volume obviously very low but this revenue could provide useful working capital. Monthly opex is very low and I certainly would not expect actual first run commercial production costs to create a funding issue.
