Thanks, that's plausible and the R&D receivable makes sense. I'm not sure how well invoicing and revenue correlate. They would recognise revenue on service delivered and the relevant invoice could be a year in advance or months in arrears depending on the contract.
They should have already made a provision for doubtful debts (though we don't have the details) and assuming that is reasonable, the receivables should be collected by the next 4C.
