If we went down the STC process, that approval pathway would be needed for every operator that wants the technology - I think that in itself brings in problems with data sharing amongst all the operators, given they are competitors to each other.

Agree one one hundred percent.
This is building behind the scenes and every week there's new cracking problems emerging in aircraft.
I also believe that capacity to fit out more than one hundred aircraft per year will soon happen if there's need for it.
