@Stezza - the advice re the 25th Sept was as per this para -

As reported in May 2023, additional testing was required in relation to the performance of the Corrosion Inhibiting Compound (CIC) which was applied to the CVM TM sensors. This additional testing is now complete, with a mitigation of the findings determined at the initially requested load factors. Additional testing is currently underway to confirm these results at the lowest likely load factors. These tests are expected to be successfully completed before scheduled conformation testing at Boeing’s Seattle laboratories which is scheduled for September 25, 2023

From this I gather Boeing has committed to a date to commence some 'confirmation' testing on Sept 25th. The question is how long will this confirmation testing take and then what internal reviews within Boeing are required to eventually accept or approve. Boeing I think are in a slightly difficult position because if thy don't approve for what has to be them installing CVM at air-frame build time, SMN would go straight away offer it to Airbus. Thus for me whilst this confirmation testing may take some more time which is a pia Boeing will approve. It all then has to go before the FAA as well.
