MKT had a very large nation-wide Gumtree advert/digital media campaign earlier this year to raise awareness of the group. Did it work. Don't know. For me, the entire existence of this entity is primarily to pay down debt, which is slow, due to smallish revenue upticks. Shareholders outside of the ghost train can only live in hope that the debt is repaid before the Gumtree tech. potentially becomes redundant. Very little of anything is coming from HC and the like. Rounding up users at any cost, including loss of content, does not work - that's evidence based. Plus. the infighting would implode any meaningful transition but those with key shareholdings, do and shall be self-interested. That's out of my ballpark. Mind you, I do hope the corp. internal spending has been reduced and the personalities have come together in unity. Doubt it.
Anyway, it's an unfortunate basket case yet things do change and I hope, one day, they can sell off and asset or two to further decrease the D.E.B.T.
Debt.
I do enjoy holding HOT. (LOL). I do wonder whether a new acquisition is nearing.
