I personally believe there is no rush for the US and China deals,
we are fully funded for this trial and have a sole focus at the moment.
Nina and the team may also be taking a calculated risk not signing early with the hopes that when the results come out next year the deals potentially being 2-3x what’s on the table now.
And if someone was to argue then why sign EU/Aus and Middle East? Because these smaller deals just provided evidence that yes BP is willing to pay and provide upfront payments and positive licensing deals, but to keep the biggest markets with the largest upsides til the end.
I personally believe there is no rush for the US and China...
