ld76, what specific metric are you looking for CCP to improve on its collection staff? If it is the $ / hr per staff member, what is the actual number you want to see them achieve?
I've been impressed that they are at least measuring the right things and seem to be actively building targets for each important metric. The management seems fairly good here.
I also thought the trick they played of raising their reserves for bad debts in order to lower their income and raise their cash flow was pretty effective since it gave them more cash to pay down debt, and they did exactly that brilliantly. With a lower level of debt, we at least have a possibility for them to improve their metrics going forward.
What kind of return on equity do you expect them to achieve long term? I remember seeing something like 15% as their target going forward which was a little disappointing to me. I would like to see them settle somewhere in the 20% to 25% range for return on equity.
