Hello ID76, Recovery rate per FTE 09 over a 40hour week average for a 52 week year ( taking into account holiday pay etc) would be $358,160 divided by 40x52 = $172/hour recovery. Their per hour recovery in May09 was $227 showing a marked improvement.
The 05 year following the same formula as above shows a $302 FTE per hour recovery.
The recovery percentage rate at the end of 09 compared to average 05 per hour = 227 divided by 302 x 100(percentage) = 75%
So staff efficiency is now 75% what it was in 05.
These are my thoughts from the figures available. Please dissect them and see what your conclusions are.
The FTE rate per hour seems to be increasing quite substantially through 09. It must have been well below $172 at the beginning of 09 rising to $227 in May09 and hopefully still improving.
