RAB, couldnt agree more, with smaller listed entities i think its good to get an understanding of the operational structure and workings to get an idea of its streangths and weaknesses.
In terms of staff numbers, managing and training 80 people would obviously be a much simpler prospect than managing and training 435. I'd think managing and training 300 would also be a simpler prospect.
I also would think that with debt acquisitions, eventually you should reach a point of maximum density where the volume of active work stabelises as new work comes and and existing portfolios close off either through payment or determination that there's no value in chasing the debtors further.
Given the significant reduction since 08 in the acquisitions i would think that staffing numbers should have stabelised some time ago based on the analysis of their numbers.
But, we're only potential or existing investors and wont have much of a say until Novembers AGM.
