My take is what seems likely to happen is the consolidation gets done then the IPO price is named (at a discount to the consolidated price to attract investor interest). ASX price will likely then adjust to whatever the IPO price will be. i doubt a rerate is likely to happen until the IPO date, HCH will probably want to see what kind of uptake by investors happens with the IPO first before announcing drill results whatever other good news they have up their sleeve. I am excited to become a holder here, current thinking is to wait for the IPO price announcement first...
