I am not in yet mate - sorry if I was a little misleading.

I will have to go into the hospital for an assessment, likely in the new year. That will clear all the issues, but I will then still have to go to my GP for an official diagnosis of OA, and get x-rays.

Then, fingers crossed, I will be accepted.

The first appointment, the 8-hour jobbie, is I assume, to receive my first shot, and then sit about waiting to see if I have any adverse reactions - this is my guesswork, not what he said on the phone. I cannot think why it would be an 8-hour stay otherwise??

Anyway, I'll post as I get further down the track, although nothing more is expected now until they call for the final assessment appointment.
