- demand a $10M refundable down-payment or bond to come to the table.
- get half a dozen players interested and raise $60M.
- finish off 008. Prove DMOAD
- get well through P3.
- negotiate with all parties, keep the tension, and narrow in on a preferred partner,
- award the deal, receive the remainder of the upfront (eg receive another $90M for a $100M upfront)
- refund the 5 unsuccessful parties $10M each and keep the extra $40M to get to next milestone
