Too many investors on HC fixated on having too high a valuation on a poorly past managed company. That was then. This is now.
Another bio-tech stock where investors cannot see the wood (potential achievable commercial potential) for the trees (past share price falls due to over-exuberance amongst both investors and management ambition). This is a convincing result. Positive results in a confirmatory study supporting the extension of the SCENESSE label to adolescent EPP patients. This is positive news. Its is removal of a small risk (there might have been safety issues) to the expansion of use in Europe.
It met its safety study objectives (no major adverse events and drug tolerability). No better indication than "all eligible patients request further treatment under special access". Clearly the mild adverse symptoms seen, not dissimilar to past studies - I'd be curious to see these controlled for as possible general EPP symptoms in a wider future trial - were more than tolerable to the patients involved versus the benefits seen (not what the trial was about).
This is positive news, but thanks for your stock whoever sold me $11.32's. Oh no sorry I forgot, only shorters sell this stock.
