You might drill ahead if you're sitting around waiting for testing equipment to arrive and paying for the drill rig by the hour. Against, this decision IVZ will need to weigh up the chances of the drill getting stuck and/or hitting water.
The bottom line is the word "discovery" is missing from the announcement. So, we will have to wait.
